Daniel really loves to try on our clothes and shoes. It was fun helping him wear his father's gloves. We got him to clap and sing.

Crying Fit.
Daniel is a good natured child. However, he does not hide his disappointment! He is especially sad when we do not let him go and play "pretend driving" in Dad's truck after he gets home from work.
In this case, taking no for an answer was incredibly difficult.

More Play Time... The More Toys, the Better!
Look how many different toys Daniel played with in one ten minute play time! He used all of these toys for a concert, I think. He even danced with the bear while the music played.

Percussion
Daniel really loves drumming. I made him a variety of them using empty containers. He experimented hitting them with different objects, but finally settled on chopsticks. He also enjoyed hitting different sized and density objects to hear their unique sounds. A large portion of his playtime is devoted to percussion.
I played percussion throughout secondary school, and I enjoy being able to teach him about different rhythms and drumming techniques. Maybe he will want to be in drum line, too!

Park Play
On Sunday, November 7, we ventured outside because it was Day Light Savings day. We wanted to get as much daylight as possible. I had been sick for a week, so I could only manage to take photos and laugh at Daniel's antics. He enjoyed playing in the gravel with sand scoops and rakes. He could really fling those rocks! He was much less interested in the play equipment and preferred to dig or run around. There were some teenagers playing kickball and Daniel thought they were great. They were actually quite terrible, but Daniel clapped for them and was so interested in watching them throw their ball. He also picked up locust pods and rattled them. He made SSSSSS snake noises and showed us each one. He also examined leaves and tried to blow them on the ground. It was a great outing for our family.
