Our Family's 2012 Christmas Card

This photo was tricky to come by! Both kids were not interested in sitting together or smiling. Luckily a grandmother with a cute baby stopped by the doorway to the studio and the kids lit up at the site of the baby.

Sick on Christmas

Daniel had a high fever that he adamantly denied having on Christmas Day in St. James. He also had a bit of a sneeze.

Daniel threw a big for about getting his photo taken and was slightly disinterested in his Christmas gifts. He barely noticed the special Mickey Mouse wrapping paper Nanny used for him.

He took a three and a half hour nap in the middle of the day and went to bed at 5:45 pm. He also spent an hour on the couch cuddling with me.

The worst part of his day was when we force fed him Tylenol. It was unpleasant to say the least.

The best part was him talking about Jesus as our Savior. He also liked playing with his new dump truck.

Favorite Christmas Music

This year Daniel loved the song, " Sing Mary, sing!". He wanted that cd for car trips. The main lyrics are:

Mary had a baby born in a manger
Mary what to do Mary what to do?

Sing Mary, sing!
Glorify your King
Born to be out pardon
No longer shall we weep
...

Sing a lullaby for the king

Daniel really likes to shout the song and its really sweet to hear him sing it while he is playing around the house.

Other good songs this year were when he would sing Angels We have Heard on High...
He would loudly and hold out
Glooooooooooooooooria
And in A Elsie Stable

He also was convinced that part of frosty the snowman says
Frosty the snowman in my soul!
And
SleighRide song says
Giddy up giddy up lets go
Let's play in the snow
It's a wonderland if snow
Giddy up giddy up its grand
Just combing your hair!!
