Bike Rides with Sister

There is a reason why there are no shots of Daniel riding his bike... He is too fast! He loves coasting around the sidewalk and feels cool riding in the cul de sac street.

Yard Work

He is in his element doing lawn and garden care. Digging, wheel Barrie ferrying, hosing... It's his play.

Morning Daddy Neediness

Daniel has been waking up well before 6am for quite some time. He is worried he will miss his dad before he leaves in the morning. He wants his one on on attention and to play with him before he leaves in the morning.

When it is time for Dan to leave, Daniel needs to give a least two hogs, a kiss, a fiat bump, a high five, and any other type or goodbye otherwise he gets really upset.

Eager Yard Work Assistant

Our new property needed done plants from our old yard. This work was tight up Daniel's alley. He followed his dad around and was a genuine help.

Rough Days

With boundaries, following instructions, self control, and gentle behavior,

Fun with Jet Tub

It's practically a swimming pool for him! And the thrill of the bubbles multiplying in jets was so much for DHH.

Things He Says

DHH has started to say untruths. Well, lies.
As in: yes, I made my bed. Oh no wait , don't go check; I didn't.

He has started using an unintelligible goofy voice when he is ashamed and embarrassed and silly and we are asking him to make amends or apologize. Latest offense: batting away forkful of corn into the floor.

He heard that Uncle Randy sang Benny and the Jets about Benjamin. He does not know that song but heard me sing a partial lyric and so DHH spent afternoon saying, ba ba ba ba Benny in a Jet.

Salt Dough Ornaments

We needed some crosses for our Easter tree so we made some from salt dough (water, flour, salt). The kids loved mixing if, forming them with cookie cutters, and decorating them with glitter paints.
