He is eager for school to be over. He can't wait to just play all morning with his family, he says.

He made this for Dan's birthday card, spelling it by'n himself and using a lego figure as the model for the drawing. 

MU Walk and All Saints Day

We went on a short fall walk with Grandma Becky on November 1st.  We went to All Saints Day Mass, and it was fun.  DHH really really liked this water feature, and he danced all around the campus.  Some people thought he was trick or treating (still, Halloween was the prior night) and thus they gave him some freebies from campus activity tables. 

These photos also highlight just how puffy and high the hair has become.

A Funny Fit

DHH doesn't have too many fits these days (PHEW) but today he had a meltdown that there was Cool Whip on his pumpkin pie.  He pounded his fist on the piece of pie and sent the topping EVERYWHERE.  It was so funny and so inappropriate.

Maps of Heaven

This morning: Dan is home now and explaining how the GPS equipment he uses with the Urban Search and Rescue Missouri Task Force 1. 
Dan: You use these tools to make maps.
DHH: Where can you use it? Maps of anything?
Dan: Well, maps of the earth. 
DHH: Oooo... how about make a map of heaven! 
Dan: No, we can't use GPS to make a map of heaven.
DHH: Oh. (Totally unimpressed with the GPS tools now.)

When I grow up, I want my job to be...

Beginning at age 3, Sept 2012... Elevator repairman 

Age 3.5, following obsession with riding escalators at JCPenny during Chriatmas... Elevator and escalator repairman 

Before brother's birth, during baby obsession... Baby doctor or ultrasound person or baby nurse 

Starting spring 2013, age 3.75... Also wants to be a tinker... As in inventor like tinker bell

Summer 2013... Wants to design machines and cars also 

Fall 2013 ... As lots of roadwork near our home... Wants to be a construction worker or home builder as well as other jobs. 

He has always wanted to be a father to at least eight kids, maybe 100.

Art Projects Lately

Preschool - first week. 

Coloring out of his own idea/plan, colored this farm scene for half hour solid!!

First totally colored color sheet. Bear with an owie.  Third week of preschool.

Watercolor. 

Started off as a DHH then he decorated letters. Then he found scissors. 

Painting in new paint smock from Nanny. 

First Visit to Chuck E Cheeses

He loved it. Grandma and Grandpa Hood took us for a late DHH birthday present.  All the kids had a good time. 

Rainbow Art Project

While at the library story hour the librarian instructed the kids to use colorful paper to create a rainbow. DHH was proud of his rendition of a rainbow.

Our neighbor is also new to neighborhood, has a little sister, is four, and is a pleasant kid. He and DHH like playing together. 

Day at Park

We love love love this park. Today DHH rode 1.5 miles and was a great sport. 

He was really curious about the flowers today. 

Jobs

Since Christmas Daniel has said he want to be an elevator repair man. 

In spring he added an escalator repairman.

This week he said he would like to be an inventor too. 

At BBS

Which is really called vbs but sometimes called PBS. 

The first night Daniel assumed he was also the bible teacher with me. He didn't understand he was supposed to travel to stations and freaked out. He stayed in my room two times but was interested enough in the arts time to leave me.

Daniel Loves His Family!

Many times each day Daniel tells me "I just love my whole family" and he has so big love in his heart.  His affection towards his siblings is a great demonstration of his love.
