This is what a kind, elderly lady told me today in Target when Daniel had managed to weasel his way out of a stroller and out of the secured lap belt and onto the floor, where he preceded to get a water bottle from my purse and then push the stroller down an aisle.
She told me she knew gifted when she saw it and wished she would have encouraged her daughter's creativity a bit more instead of scolding her.
I suppose I should be delighted my son can think up such a plan, but I am still disappointed that he wants to do so many disobedient ("You need to stay in the stroller with mama right now.") and cunning (how did he outfox the stroller and the zipper on my purse?).
I'll give him this... he is a pretty good problem solver.

First Time Out
Daniel was having a difficult time coping with lunch in late March.
He was arching his back and grunting, and both things are not allowed. They are not good high chair manners! Simply saying, "No!" and then saying it again accompanied by a hand squeeze wasn't working.
I tried a time out in his crib. I intended to leave him there for about a minute. However, he started laughing and squealing.
