 Dear Baby,

This was a pretty good week for you!  You were cared for by two loving parents.  Your dad was home with you all day on Monday and Tuesday while Mama worked.  He was also home with us on Thursday afternoon because we were sick! He needed to help take care of us.  We are lucky to have such a kind and caring guy at our side to help us recover!

 When I took you to the doctor on Thursday, I was actually more sick than you were. I had a higher fever AND pink eye.  I am so happy you only had a cold.  It wasn't particularly pleasant for you, however!  Your nose was full of snot, which made breathing, eating, and sleeping pretty difficult.  You did manage to find ways to play!

On Tuesday evening, we went for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.  It was goodbye time for your Korean friends.  One guy, Sung Kwah Oh, also known as Matt, took care of you while we ate. He was crazy about you!  You let him hold you and he let you poke him in the eye.  He helped you walk around the restaurant and let you flirt with all the other students.  You were so popular with them!  They called you Super Star Baby Dan. 

You took 2.5 hour naps in the morning and the afternoon. You woke around 6 AM and went to bed around 7 PM.  You took bottles for your dad really well, and you tried a few new foods like prunes and bananas.  I don't think you enjoyed these foods, but you do enjoy your plain, boring rice cereal mixed with water!  We let you drink water from open top cups at meals, too.  Bath time happens each night at 6:30 PM, and you have at least one predictable bed time story (usually Good Night, Moon).

Life is so good for you right now, little boy.  You make our life so good, too.
