I was fixing a later supper for us, so I stopped to get a snack for me at the chest freezer. It was an ice cream bar. I had him in his high chair and he was feeding himself some puffs. He looked so interested in the ice cream bar that I let him try to eat a part that was not chocolate covered. He was very surprised by either the taste, texture, or temperature... because he made a face like he'd eaten something totally unexpected. He did go back for seconds! I let him play with/feed himself a chunk of ice cream. Most of it melted, but it made him happy!
By the way... it was low fat, low sugar... and delicious on a hot spring day!
