Last week, we visited Daniel's Great-Grandma Jeanette Landolt. Her daughter, Grandma Becky, gave Daniel a tour of her springtime garden.
She balanced him on the stone wall so he could inspect the yellow blossoms.
She removed the yellow blossoms from his mouth.
She helped him balance in the Columbines.
He had never seen these flowers.
She put him down to crawl in the flower bed,
But he did not like it.
Too pokey?
Come on, let's get your green thumb going!
She showed him the rose bush in the front of the house.
She minded his hands on the thorns.
Notice how they are similarly dressed!
He tried to escape her grasp to check out the rest of the garden!
Look at these azaleas!
His balance is quite good these days!
A big yard to play in!
Walking on the sidewalk
and checking out the poppies.
Walking quickly towards his Grandma Becky!
The flowers are taller than he is!
Let me see these guys!
